Import an Existing Domain-Specific Library ​

This chapter introduces how you can import an existing Domain-Specific Library, which will be called libraries within this chapter. A library in Scene2Model is saved in a folder on the device's drive. This folder contains information about the domain concepts, the concepts' graphical representation, available models and so on. This folder can be sent to other stakeholders, who can import it into their own Scene2Model instance.

Prerequisite:

• The folder containing the library must be accessible locally on the device.
• It is assumed you have made a back-up of your current library.

Import an existing Domain-Specific Library ​

1. Select Library Management -> Load existing library

   • Confirm that you want to update the library, by clicking on yes
   • select the folder with the existing library

   

2. Open project

   • if a project is available for the library, a window for choosing it will be opened.
   • mark the project that should be loaded and click Import
   • with Cancel you can continue without loading a project
